Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to this weeks picks. You and I are both getting closer and closer to the big payoff at the end of a successful season. So it is important to dot our i’s and cross our t’s. Make sure that we put in the right guys and keep out the wrong ones.

Anyway, I’m gonna make this one short cuz I can smell that turkey cookin and I’m getting really hungry. I’ve be saving every square inch of my stomach for what is about to take place. I love Thanksgiving!

Here’s your picks!

Start em if you got em…

Justin Forsett RB (SEA) - Last week I had him as a sleeper and he delivered. This week he should go straight into your line-up as a solid RB2. The Rams are a surprising 13th against the run but Seattle will be using him extensively in the passing game. He will get over 100 all purpose yards, 5 + catches and 1 or more touchdowns.

Well its week four and by know you and I are starting to get a pretty good feel for who’s reliable and who’s not so reliable. But there are still a few players that have yet to live up to their billing. This week, I have one of them for you.

Also this week, I am stepping out on a limb with a few picks. Some of them seem to defy logic BUT I, like you, must trust my gut. Here’s what I have on tap for you this week.

Start em if you got em…

Santana Moss WR (WAS) – Last week I thought about starting him but opted instead for Hines Ward as my WR3… OOOPS ( thank God I still won). This week I won’t make the same mistake again. Look for him to post some decent numbers again this week against the pathetic Buc’s defense. 7 for 120+ and a TD.

As the weeks go by your line up decisions get more and more important. From here on out every decision – good or bad – is magnified by ten. Let me help you make sure your decision are the good kind. Here are my thoughts on six players you may be considering this Sunday.

Start em if you got em

Dwayne Bowe WR (KC) -The Chiefs have been putting some offense together lately. They are averaging almost 24 points a game in their last three. A big reason for that has been the play of quarterback Tyler Thigpen. This week KC welcomes the reeling and batter the 27th ranked Saints defense to Arrowhead. Look for D. Bowe to let it all hang out this week with 7-10 catches for 100+ and at least one touchdown.

Santana Moss WR (WAS) – Maybe this is obvious by now but just in case you didn’t catch it. Mini Moss has made the Boys his beeatch lately. In his last three games against them he’s had 25 catches for 381 and two touchdown. There is no reason that should change this Sunday night. Look for 100+ and 1-2 touchdowns.

Welcome to week six. This is the week that you begin your journey into what is the meat of the fantasy football season. The next 3-5 weeks will go a long way in determining whether you will be pondering your starting line-up for your leagues play-offs or swallowing your fantasy pride for the next six months.

With so much at stake there is no time to waste. Let’s get right to it.

Start em if you got em

Washington D – With the Bills, Steelers and Titans defenses on a bye this week, I know some of you are looking for a solid replacement. Look no further than red hot Washington. According to NFL.com the Skins have held five of the leagues top offenses below their season averages and this week they get a struggling Rams team at home.

The Rams have allowed 13 sacks and are averaging just over 10 points a game in just four games. I don’t think a new head coach is going to make that big of a difference this week. Look for Washington to get 3 sacks, allow less than 13 points, force 3 turnovers and score a touchdown this week.

Building this list was a little tricky this week but I managed to find a few players worth picking up and list a few more that you can add to your watch list. Check them out.

May be available now…

Kyle Orton QB (CHI) – Don’t look now but Mr. Orton is starting to look like a fantasy QB. I recommended that you pick him you last week and I am doing it again this week. And after a 334 yard, 2 touchdown performance against Detroit I am doing it with a little more certainty. A great bye week spot start this week with Atlanta on the schedule.

UPDATE: Tim Hightower RB (ARI)I know I have mentioned him before (who hasn’t right?). But I just want you to make sure he isn’t laying around in your league. It is too bad he isn’t getting all of the carries 7 for 37 yards and 2 TD’s. With his nose for the endzone (he has 5 td’s already this year) He could be a nice fill in during a bye week and a MUST have if Edge goes down.

Bobby Engram WR (SEA) – If you didn’t grab him last week and you are not too late, grab him now. The Seahawks only had 113 total passing yards, Engram had 61 of them on 8 catches. When the Seahawks get back to the west coast and get some better match-ups, todays performance indicates that Engram will be a solid starter week in and week out.
