Spent the morning listening to Sirius and I came away with a few things I figured I’d share with you.
…Peter King thinks the Cowboys are still in the market for a receiver no matter how the Terry Glenn situation pans out. They feel they have a “big hole” at the two spot and are just waiting in the weeds to see how other situations - like Chad Johnson’s - shake out around the league. Big hole jumps out because it speaks to what they think they have after TO.
…Todd Heap will be a bigger part of the passing game in new OC Cam Cameron’s offense - ala’ Antonio Gates. It is great in theory but I wouldn’t bet the farm. Two things here: 1) he can’t seem to stay healthy lately and 2) we don’t know who will be throwing to him.
…During an interview HC Ken Whisenhunt said “Matt Leinart is the starter going in [to training camp].” Not a shocker by any means but good to hear that he is healthy and is backed by the head coach.

1I don’t see the Cowboys hole big at the 2, but I do at the 3 spot. I thought Patrick Crayton came on strong at the end of the year plus they have Whitten as well.
Plus I don’t usually agree with Peter King he has some ‘out there’ theories

2Thanks for stopping Jeremy,
Thanks what I was thinking too - and lets not forget about Witten. Just passing along what Peter King’s impression of how the Cowboys feel about the situation.
