Does this ever happen to you? Every year I get a million requests to play in fantasy football leagues. Although I would love to say yes to each and every one of your requests, I just can’t. There is only so much time in a day.

So I have come up with an idea that will allow you and I to compete. I started my own league and am inviting everyone of you - readers, bloggers, podcasters, experts, etc - to play. Better yet, I will give you the chance to win $100 of my cash (along with even more as you’ll see below).

Yep, you read that right. I want to give away $100 to the person who comes out on top. If you have what it takes to finish first in the FantasyFootballGoat League (is that creative name or what?) I will send you a check for 100 big ones. It is not much BUT I am sure you’ll find a way to use it; league fees, playoff wagering, taking the wife out to dinner for all the time spent harvesting stats and not with her, etc.

I am going to host it over on RotoHog.com.

Why Rotohog?

Well first of all, I loved to play on that site last year and their format allows you and I to play in multiple leagues while only having one roster to manage. So its less complicated balancing 5-10 leagues and a huge time savings.

Also, I think it is a pretty fair setup because you can build your salary cap-based roster by playing the market and determining real time value of players. You can have any player you want as long as you can afford them and you buy players low and sell them high to can increase your salary cap (sort of a game within the game and WAY freakin cool).

Finally, you can win $100 from me but thats not all. Rotohog also has many other leagues from $10 to $500 that you can participate in to win much more. They have weekly prizes and one big free contest where you could win $25,000. You could really be raking it in by managing only one roster.

Next, you need to go sign up at RotoHog.com for free here and then send me an email with “FFGoat Rotohog League Entry” in the subject line so I can send you an invitation to the league. And thats it!

Now, just get familiar with Rotohog and get ready to compete.
