Your success in fantasy football starts and ends with your ability to collect and decipher information. In this post, using a few videos I’ve whipped up, I am going to show you can get any NFL and fantasy football information sent to one place, in real time.

Imagine having stuff like player information, NFL team information, weather reports, start’em sit’em lists, sleeper candidates, waiver wire pick-ups, and pretty much any other fantasy football information sent to one convenient location for you to review anytime, anyplace. Pretty handy huh?

Pretty simple stuff huh? Anyway, now that you’ve seen the videos you are going to want to get started on your custom fantasy football info webpage.

I have been putting together a nice list of great fantasy football blogs, and website, in a series I call the Fantasy Football Bloggers Blitz. Read through them because you will find a bunch of blogs to subscribe to and websites to link to. They will all help you in your quest for the title.I am finding new widgets and uses for my website every day so look around and you can really pimp out your webpage.

If you have any questions about something that wasn’t in the video send me an email or post a comment below. I don’t have all the answers but I may be able to point you in the right direction.

    This is great info but as somebody who has worked in the online/technology industry for 12 years the one thing I’ve found to be universally true is that consumers/users want something easy to use. RSS is great but its only used by a relatively small population of online users for a reason. So while this is exactly how I keep track of more than 100 online football information sources, most just want a single source where they can spend 15 to 30 minutes a day keeping track of what’s going on.

    Perhaps another reason they are not using RSS is that they don’t know what it is. I would be willing to bet that most people would use more than one resource if they new how easy it is to use it.

    If anyone wants to be competitive, and if the information is readily available and easily accessible, why wouldn’t they use it?

    You said that you use it yourself. What makes you different than anyone else?

    You should take a poll on the Collective and see why it is they might not be using it, or if in fact they only want one resource? Maybe I am completely off base!

    @ FF Collective. In my eyes, what Corey just did here was gave the fantasy owner that “single source” once the work is done customizing it the way they want it. I’m pretty sure what your getting at is your site is the only source they need but you can’t honestly believe that. No matter how loyal some of your readers may be they know that the internet is a big place and will stray. If your giving them the most reliable information there is no need to worry about it.

    Good work Corey! A large reason many people don’t use RSS is that they just don’t know what to do with it. What you provided here is a pretty simple solution to that.

    I finally got time to put this to use. I have a restricted free agent period in my IDP Dynasty league coming up next month. I have 31 guys I’m keeping my eye on as possible players to bid on. Using the iGoogle I created a page with Google News Search on each player. Awesome idea. Since we have 40 man active rosters I’m going to set it up for a newspage for my players after RFA.

    I need your help … I was able to use Larry Johnson/TJ Housh as bait for Reggie Wayne/Westbrook. So now my roster has MTurner, SJackson, Chris Johnson, BWestbrook in the backfield … Jackson/Johnson start by default because of bye weeks for the other two. I picked up Shawn Alexander for fun and have him on my IR … But my receivers now are Brandon Marshall/Wayne/Harrison/Hester … After last week’s performance by Harrison, and injury to Addai, something tells me Harrison has another big week … Do I go safe with Wayne/Marshall or sit one of them in favor of Marvin? And with Hester going against weak Vikings defense, do i even consider him?
    Please share wisdom for a little peace of mind.

    You are correct in wondering about Harrison BUT he is still WR2 and you have two WR1 (not many can say that). I say you stay with Marshall and Wayne and not worry since they are two of the best and will perform for you.
