This Sunday two of the biggest QB’s in the business, Aaron Rodgers and RG3, will be hanging out by a pool somewhere counting their money.
Meanwhile, thousands of fantasy owners will be scrambling for someone worthy enough to produce respectable numbers in their absence.
Here are few QB’s, that may be available in your league, you should consider and one that you should avoid.
Phillip Rivers (SD) – It is very possible that some owner in your league gave up on Rivers because he has really stunk it up this year. This week he get the Buc’s in what seems to have the makings of a shootout.
The Buc’s are allowing a league worth 321 net yards a game while their offense is clicking. I think Rivers and company are going to need to throw the ball in this one and they are gonna have success. Look for 300 yards and 3 TD’s from Rivers.
Russell Wilson (SEA) – Yeah Russell has been hot and may look like a viable alternative but the Jets, despite their struggles and their lack of Revis, aren’t as sucky as the Lions and Vikes.
The Jets are only allowing only 206 yards a game and the way to beat them is with the running game, enter Marshawn Lynch. I think this is a low scoring, penalty filled game where Wilson posts less than 200 yards and 0 TD’s.
Ryan Tannehill (MIA) – The Titans are coming to town and he has his full arsenal of receivers back in tow so look for him to rack of some stats.
The Titans are dead last in in passing TD’s allowed (20) and 27th in pass yards allowed (273 per game) so it is not a stretch. Look for a solid 280+ yards and 3 TD’s.
