As the title implies, I am shortening this installment up a bit this week due to my lack of time (A wedding and a performance this weekend to prepare for. My head is wanting to spin). But, these are some super quality picks that I am super confident in. Check them out.
Thomas Jones/Leon Washington RB (NYJ) - The Bills are giving up about 150 a game this year and they even let Jamal Lewis “plow” for over 100 last week. I just bet the Jets will run all over them. Thomas Jones goes for 100 and a TD and Leon goes for 125 all around yards with a big play for a TD and a few receptions sprinkled in to please you PPR guys.
Matt Schaub QB (HOU) - This is a tricky one considering his performance last week but I think the Bengals will be able to shut him down in a similar way the Jets did earlier in the season. I will be starting him with caution in a two QB league but I wouldn’t recommend it in one QB league. I don’t see Schaub getting much more than 225 and maybe 1 touchdown. P.S. I am also lowering my expectations for Andre Johnson this week since he will be matched up with uber stud cornerback Jonathan Joseph who has been shutting top receivers down all year long. Don’t bench him Andre, but just don’t think you will get much more than WR2, WR3 stats this week.
…Todd Heap TE (BAL) puts up a solid game against the Vikes. I hate picking dudes against my favorite squad but I’ve been watching tight ends tear them up all year (and Todd Heap is pretty good anyway). If you can use him as a wide receivers this week, I think you can expect him to outperform maybe WR2 and WR3. I’m thinking 8 catches for 100 and a touchdown.
Now before you go, there are two things you need to do if you haven’t already;
1) Sign up for the newsletter. Whether you are new or a Goat veteran, you will want to sign up because I will I be sending out each post and there will be times when I will send out some stuff that I don’t want to share with the world by posting live. Get the newsletter now!
2) Join me over at Fanduel and set up an account. It is weekly head to head fantasy football where you can win cold hard cash (to add to your end of the season haul). I’ve won two week in a row and have built up a nice little cash total (Total $108 for the year so far). Also, because the FTC is all over us, I want you to know that the Goat gets a little kickback from FanDuel for referring you. I can assure you that it is a quality service - since I use it myself - and I would appreciate anything your support ( it is nice getting a little something for all the free info I dredge up for you on a weekly basis). Sign up now!
See you next time and good luck this weekend.

2I totally agree with you on Todd Heap. As a fellow Viking’s fan I have seen countless big plays over the middle to opposing tight ends and as an ASU student I have seen what Heap can do when healthy. Heap is gonna post top 5 TE #’s this weekend.
