Waiver Wire Live Radio Show for Week 7 is Up

Hot off the presses and ready for you to go listen to; the recorded version of Waiver Wire Live is ready. Go here ->  Waiver Wire Live.

Check it out before you make any lineup decisions this week and don’t forget to rate the show

Even with the midpoint of the season approaching, there are still some solid players that are lying around on the waiver wire who can help you get closer to your goal. Here are a few of this weeks hot prospects.

May be available now…

UPDATE: Brad Johnson QB (DAL) -In case you haven’t heard by now, Romo will miss 4-5 weeks with a broken pinky on his throwing hand. Is Brad Johnson going to come in and light it up ala Romo? I doubt it. Is he going to play like Tyler Thigpen? I doubt that too. He will be a middle of the road quarterback that you could use in a pinch.

Matt Schaub QB (HOU) – Finally, Houston gets a W. Schaub had 2 picks but had 379 yards, a passing touchdown and a 1 game winning rushing touchdown. This offense is really starting to heat up and with home game against the Lions this week, he will be an excellent option for you if he is available in your league.

Matt Ryan QB (ATL) – I think it is time to drink the Kool Aid. He has been solid all season and this week he was able to post 300 yards with a touchdown against the Bears very solid defense. I think he has earned the title of QB2.

He will be on a bye this week but after that he gets the Eagles and then three very favorable match-ups in Oakland, New Orleans, and Denver. If you have a player on a bye one of those weeks, you might want to grab him and stash him now.

Jeff Garcia QB (TB) – Nothing stellar fantasy wise about this weeks performance but – because he won and didn’t turn the ball over – he has already been named starting QB for next weeks game. If you need a warm body to throw in the week, he could be a mild sleeper against a struggling Seattle team.

Dominic Rhodes RB (IND) – Joseph Addai went out of the game with a hamstring injury and Rhodes went for 73 and a touchdown against the Ravens. We don’t know the severity of Addai’s injury at this time but hamstring injuries are nagging. If you have Addai, you better have Rhodes. If nobody has Rhodes, you would be wise to grab him. The Colts are heating up and having their running back – whoever it is – is a good thing.

Warrick Dunn RB (TB) – I almost don’t believe it but Dunn could be a decent addition to your squad as a spot RB2, RB3 or flex player. He was able to post 115 yards against a solid Carolina defense and is gaining the favor of Coach Gruden.

Waiver Wire Live Radio Show for Week 6 is Up

Once again, I almost forgot to remind you to go listen to the recorded version of Waiver Wire Live now by going here ->  Waiver Wire Live.

I am at the tail end of the move I was telling you about last week. Next week I be back on the ball.

As always, check it out before you make any lineup decisions this week and don’t forget to rate the show

Building this list was a little tricky this week but I managed to find a few players worth picking up and list a few more that you can add to your watch list. Check them out.

May be available now…

Kyle Orton QB (CHI) – Don’t look now but Mr. Orton is starting to look like a fantasy QB. I recommended that you pick him you last week and I am doing it again this week. And after a 334 yard, 2 touchdown performance against Detroit I am doing it with a little more certainty. A great bye week spot start this week with Atlanta on the schedule.

UPDATE: Tim Hightower RB (ARI)I know I have mentioned him before (who hasn’t right?). But I just want you to make sure he isn’t laying around in your league. It is too bad he isn’t getting all of the carries 7 for 37 yards and 2 TD’s. With his nose for the endzone (he has 5 td’s already this year) He could be a nice fill in during a bye week and a MUST have if Edge goes down.

Bobby Engram WR (SEA) – If you didn’t grab him last week and you are not too late, grab him now. The Seahawks only had 113 total passing yards, Engram had 61 of them on 8 catches. When the Seahawks get back to the west coast and get some better match-ups, todays performance indicates that Engram will be a solid starter week in and week out.
