Here are a few pieces of good news I think you will want to know about.
Turns out there is a site out there that is keeping tabs on all of us fantasy prognosticators. The site is FantasyXpert.com and they watch fantasy websites to keep track of who is good at predicting information so that you – the fantasy player – know who to trust.
You will want to stop by and read their post entitled – and the title freakin long – “How Albert Einstein Can Increase Your Fantasy Football Performance by 45 percent.”
While reading you might notice that the FantasyFootballGoat – that’s me – was voted most accurate for start advice in October (which was voted on before my week 8 disaster which included the Arizona D….WTF Cardinals?).
Anyway, that is pretty good news. I am glad that I am doing something right and, most of all, helping out some of the best readers – that’s you guys – make better fantasy decisions.

Training camps are in full swing and your fantasy research should be in high gear. Hell, I’m sure some of you already have the magazine (old-school but handy in the john) and I’m sure many of you have been wearing out the link to your favorite fantasy stops on the web. And that my frioend is a good thing because its what champions like you and I do to stay ahead of the competiton. But are you doing all you can?
Today, I want to offer up a few more more resources that you could take advantage of when you can’t be reading but rather listening. In this post I give you four of my favorite resources to get my favorite – and most effective – form of fantasy football study…podcasts.
After reading this post and taking action, you will Read the rest of this entry

I don’t know about you but the seemingly endless Brett Favre saga is driving nuts. And if you think its bad where you are, try being a Vikings fan who lives in a Minnesota town that sits on the border with Wisconsin and is populated with a large percentage of green and gold cult members. Not only do you get it in every RSS feed, every radio broadcast and every TV channel but it is what everyone continues to talk about. SERENITY NOW!
But today – two days after coming out of fantasy blogging retirement – it hit me. While thanking my good friend Sara at fflibrarian (psst…go subscribe because she is very good) the other day for welcoming me back and giving me some link love, I realized what Brett Favre must feel like this time of year. I just wanted to let you know that due to an unforeseen event last night – and time constraints associated with my day job – I am going to be unable to complete a waiver wire post this week. However, I have a few ideas so that you can still get your waiver wire fix.
First, tune into my live internet radio show – Waiver Wire Live – tonight at 10:30 pm EST (9:30 pm CST) over on BlogTalkRadio.com . I will be put the list together for you live on the air. I will review Sundays players to look out for, give a sneak peak at next weeks games and take your questions via live chat and an exclusive call in line. Stop by and check it out if you can (if you can’t there will be an archive version for you to check out.
Second, you can stop by and vist the Fantasy Football Librarian. She posts waiver wire reports from all over the net. Also, The Hazean offers up his picks in his weekly “Grab Bag.” And last – and definitely not least – we have FootbalJabbers Weekly Waiver Wire Buffet.
Thanks for your understanding and see you tonight.

As the weeks go by your line up decisions get more and more important. From here on out every decision – good or bad – is magnified by ten. Let me help you make sure your decision are the good kind. Here are my thoughts on six players you may be considering this Sunday.
Start em if you got em
Dwayne Bowe WR (KC) -The Chiefs have been putting some offense together lately. They are averaging almost 24 points a game in their last three. A big reason for that has been the play of quarterback Tyler Thigpen. This week KC welcomes the reeling and batter the 27th ranked Saints defense to Arrowhead. Look for D. Bowe to let it all hang out this week with 7-10 catches for 100+ and at least one touchdown.
Santana Moss WR (WAS) – Maybe this is obvious by now but just in case you didn’t catch it. Mini Moss has made the Boys his beeatch lately. In his last three games against them he’s had 25 catches for 381 and two touchdown. There is no reason that should change this Sunday night. Look for 100+ and 1-2 touchdowns.
