Thanks Rodney,

That is interesting. I guess I missed that and I do respect FO's opinions a great deal.

That said, I wonder if Trent Edwards read that before he threw those two TD passes to him last weekend. Also. I wonder if Dick Jauron read it too and will limit his touches. We'll see.

Thanks for pointing that out. I will tame my sleeper expectations a bit.

Robert Royal

Taken from FootballOutsiders 2009:

"One of the worst starters in the NFL at any position. Royal has hands like patio block, fumbles too many of the passes he does catch, and gets flagged too often to justify his rep as a blocking tight end. Even his three-catch , 42-yard, two -touchdown effort against the Dolphins in Week 14 comes with a grain of salt: he bobbled his 28 yard touchdown for about fivie seconds before finally hauling it in"

Joe,

Thanks for stopping. I hate to say it but I would not call McFadden a sleeper. If anything he is overvalued because of his NFL draft position. Bush has been getting a ton of action in preseason and word is he may be the short yardage guy (aka TD vulture). Also, you still have Fargas in the mix. Pretty muddled situation and I think there are other backs who have better value for the same price..

But that is just my feeling.

Advisor,

On Johnson...yeah I was thinking that myself but had to get it out there before he is to far gone.

On Slaton...yeah he was on the list but I am waiting to see how all these injuries - with Green - are shaking out but I do like him in PPR leagues.

Thanks for stopping.

What do you think about Mcfadden the RB from the Raiders? I have been watching him closely think he is a good sleeper.

I think Chris Johnson is slowly falling out of the "sleeper" category with these monster efforts he's putting up. He is definitely someone to keep an eye on if he falls too low on draft boards though.

As far as Kitna goes, I think his success will be determined in large part to the effectiveness of rookie RB Kevin Smith. If he can take some pressure off Kitna that would be HUGE for Kitna's success.

I will keep an eye on Josh Morgan as well, not sold yet, but I will watch for him. (Thanks for sharing)

One more thing.... (Steve Slaton, RB Texans)... shhhhhhhhhh... keep it quiet though. I put him in my sleepers list a month ago and he should be on radar.

Thanks ffexchange,

Thanks for adding a few key points to the discussion. Lions play Atlanta week one and you can bet he will be on my start'em, sit'em sleeper report for that one.

I do like Kitna for where you can get him. Also, in stock leagues, like the one you are hosting, he is a great buy low candidate. I do think the return to the run game give Kitna more protection and opens up Williams and Johnson a little more and they are your explosive receivers, not Furrey and MacDonald. I expect big years from both WRs, so it is hard for me to say Kitna will be bad, as others have.
