Where do I start? lol

Yes, I took the Musicgoat idea and applied to this site (ala my sub title ….and anything else NFL). But there is more to it. First, I wanted fantasy football in the url so I wanted to stick with 3 or four letters at the end to minimize the length.

Second, of the three or four options I settled on and then tested, it tested the best using Google Adwords. More poeple clicked on the Goat version than the other four (which surprised me).

Finally, I think it is fairly memorable. Not the greatest association in the world BUT everyone remembers it. It seems people remember who you are talking about when you say fantasy football and goat in the same breath. A little branding there i suppose.

I tell you what, love Jerry Rice as a football player but I felt like Sirius was stealing from me everyday I heard him on the air. Drove me nuts. Ummm,uhhhhh…Calling the players the wrong name.(I caught him calling people the wrong name three times in one segment one day…lol. Not one person three times but three different people) And no matter what the caller question was he would run down the starting roster of the team.

Fan: “Jerry who do you think the Packers starting running back will be?”
Jerry: ” Well, you have Brett Favre. Donald Driver is pretty good…”

Anyway…I have been meaning to ask, maybe you won’t share…where does your Goat come from? Was it because you’ll eat any music and then tranferred the name here too? Huh?
