Thanks for stopping Mark,

I think you are the first representing for the Bengals. Should be interesting how they navigate the rest of the offseason.

The Bengals will rule the AFC North. They have experience other teams don't have. They also have added key players. I think the Browns will do good because of key acquisitions but QB Derek Anderson lacks experience needed to win in the AFC (I know he did last year but he flopped when it counted) and the their defense is questionable. The Steelers will still do decent but their only true move is extending Big Ben's contract. The Ravens look to be another flop they haven't done anything.

Corey,
Thanks for the response, yeah the Browns pretty much get no respect. And they have won several NFL Championships (before it was renamed) same game different name. They won in the 50's several times and of course the 1964 Championship. They were also undefeated an entire season, however that is when they were in the AFL, just prior to joining the NFL. I would agree football is no fun without the rivalries and for the Browns the Steelers/Browns rivalry was always the biggest. When the Browns returned to the NFL the feeling was just not there until within the last couple of years. Anyways at least the someone respects the Browns a little bit (the person who make the NFL Schedule) the Browns have 5 primetime games this year, three Monday night football games, one Sunday night primetime and a Thursday night primetime. Yeah and how bout them Lions !!! LOL I just hope the guy the Browns picked up from them (BIG Baby) brings his Monster defense and not the other......

Thanks Robert,

The banter - back and forth - is a lot like what I have been experiencing for many years myself. I am a Vikings fan and I live on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Some of my best friends are Packer fans - one's a Lions fans but he has NOTHING to say lol - and there are a ton of Chicago Bears fans - that attend the two colleges in town here.

These Green Bay and Chicago fans are very much like the Steeler fans. They have no respect for their rivals because they don't have any rings. I have used similar arguments for the Vikes; They have tons of division titles and playoff appearances and have been to more Super Bowls. But, until they - like the Browns - get a ring, you and I can expect that disrespect to continue. I just take it game to game and have fun with it.

I will say it is way to early to predict anything (but it is fun trying), lets face facts that neither the Browns or the Steelers was or will be the king or daddy of the division for ever. They have both had times when they were strong and had times when they totally sucked. Outside of last year the Browns have pretty much sucked for the last 13 years (several of which they did not exist). Anyways to say the Steelers were always and will always be king I would suggest you do a little history checking just to double check your facts. I remember a certain game back in 1989 at the old Three Rivers that went a little something like this Cleveland 51- Steelers 0. Of course we (as Browns fans) have taken our lumps, but so have the Steelers. Over almost the last decade the Browns have had their behinds handed to them by the Steelers. 1990's through 2007- Steelers 25 wins to the Browns 7. However lets go back a little bit further shall we. From the first time the Browns/Steelers started playing each other back in the 50's it took the Steelers 4 years before they even got their first win against the Browns (sound familiar). During the 50's & 60's it was Cleveland 31 wins to the Steelers 9 wins. Then of course there was the 70's where the Steelers were Super Champs many times over and owned the Browns through that decade 15-5. In the 80's it flipped back to the Browns Favor 12 wins to 8. So as you can see there is an Ebb and flow to this long standing rivalry (lets hope it never goes away again) and I suspect this last decade of the Pittsburgh owning Cleveland is about over due for a change. And I am sure that any Steelers Fan that is intelligent and not just posturing would have to agree. Nuff Said

Interesting take Brad. Should I assume you are a Ravens fan since you didn't mention them?

Thansk for stopping.

Pitt lost their stud guard...lets see the last afc north team that lost their stud guard...um the bengals. What happened to them? Palmer couldnt stand up, and he wasnt as good. Wasn't ben already sacked like 50 some times last year, he's going get tim couch syndrome soon.

And whoever said that derek anderson was a flash in the pan, is right....that could be clevelands only mistake just trying to be good and not going for the chance of greatness w/ brady

Their is a brown, orange and white tank coming over the hill in AFC Northland. It has been redesigned with heavy armor for defense (Wiliams/Rogers alloy plates) and is offensivly powered by (Winslow/Edwards/Stallworth missles). This tank even has a spare gun. (a Anderson gun is in place and a Quiin gun can be inserted quickly) It runs on high octane (Thomas/Stienbeck) rocket fuel.
