With all but the Pro Bowl in the history books, it’s time to embark yet on another NFL off-season. Today I figured you and I could take a look at a few things you can do to tame the NFL and fantasy football withdrawals.

First things first; the time that is typically dedicated to research and viewing could now be used - assuming you are male – to make good with your wife, girlfriend or both. Remember to do this as often as possible because training camp will be here before you know it.

Next - after you take care if that bloated honey-do list - you could use the time to focus on other hobbies. You could read some of those books you’ve been stockpiling, do some more ice fishing, starting a blog or campaign for Ron Paul. Your options are endless.

Finally, you multi-sport nuts could catch up on one of your other favorite leagues. The NBA, NHL and NCAA hoops are in full swing with the Arena League and NASCAR starting soon.

As for those of you who see the above suggestions as nothing more than mere scraps to feed your king size pro football hunger, I’m here for ya. I will still be posting here and there.

Also, be sure to check my blogroll and subscribe to every one of those blogs. I know may of them will keep the fire burning. And if you know of a great NFL or fantasy site that will be active during the off season, please share in the comments below.
