The Rotohog league I’m in looks like it is going to be pretty fun. The waiver wire works like the stock market and the trading floor opened this morning. The price is set in real time as people add and cut players.
Being new to the format, I screwed up already. There were a few players that went up in value fast WR Jacoby Jones HOU went from $1 to $6 and is still climbing (should have drafted last weekend). I did get K Mason Crosby GB for $1 and now he is worth $6 and climbing.
Overall, I started with the $300 salary cap but the Rotohog format allows the savvy player the chance to increase the value by getting players that increase in value. In other words, when your players go up so does your cap. I think my team is worth about $315 right now.
I really like this trading floor idea. Very fun and very fair. Should be an interesting season.
If this looks like something you would like to try it is not to late to get in, get your $300 salary cap and start adding players. I’d love to compete against you. Go signup free at Rotohog now and get a team. Then check out the post I did on it last week which explains more about how you can win some cash with Rotohog.
