Today, I will show you the first of my five drafts. You are going to want to pay attention to how I manage my teams for three reasons; first, whether you agree with my moves or not you get a sense for how you want to manage your team. Second, you will learn something from everything I do, right or wrong. Third, I am trying to put together a little contest were I will give you the opportunity to win some cash each week based on my teams performance.

Todays league is one that us Bruno Boys put together to see who the real Bruno Boy expert is. This ten team league is pretty straight forward. Line is as follows QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, D with seven on the bench. The scoring is standard (no points per reception..bummer) and there is and NHL style playoffs.

By NHL style playoffs I mean all but four teams can make the playoffs which is over half the league. I’m not much for having a playoff during the regular season anyway but if we must have them, why water it down even more. If you aren’t good enough to finish in the top half of your league you shouldn’t have a chance to win it. BUT ANYWAY, when in Rome right?

Overall I am pretty happy with my draft in this league. Solid QB’s and solid TE. I have some good depth at receiver along with a ton of upside.

My RB3 situation is a little sketchy but I figure one of those guys will pan out plus I will be a hawking the waiver wire just in case. There is always someone serviceable available with these small rosters.

My recent wide receiver, running back, kicker and defense acquisitions are probably me just over-thinking things but moves like that have paid off many times in the past. Tony Hunt and Jacoby Jones could be more beneficial to my team in the long run than the players I dropped and the kicker and defense moves should be the last I make at least until bye weeks.
