Every time I see turmoil in New York - and LT dominate in San Diego - I wonder if Eli regrets cock-blocking San Diego.
Just look at each situation and tell me you wouldn’t have at least a tiny bit of regret.
San Diego - Super Bowl contender. A cohesive teams-team. Arguably the greatest running back of all time to hand the ball off to. Great offensive line. Great defense. Great weather.
Meanwhile..
New York - Five hundred team. Constant drama. Shaky offensive line. Below shaky defense. Coach who’s a hard ass. Constant pressure to succeed. Blizzards.
Who knows, maybe he likes that sort of stuff. Maybe he’s an over-achiever type and looks at it all as the ultimate challenge. Or maybe he’s thinking, “damn, I should’ve never listened to my dad.”

1Good question - here’s another one.
Does LaDainian Tomlinson regret the Chargers decision to go with Rivers instead of Manning? I’d say absolutely not. Rivers QB Rating last year 92 - Manning 77. Both had great RBs and TEs to work with.
Straight up, I’d rather have Rivers (22 TDs, 9 INTs in 2006) leading my NFL team over Eli (24 TDs, 18 INTs). This is a make or break year for Eli, and he hasn’t shown any consistency yet.
